Kavrepalanchowk. As many as 41 people in Kavrepalanchowk are still out of contact due to the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. According to the District Administration Office, Dhulikhel, eight out of 47 families have come in contact so far.

The office has so far updated the list of 41 people in the district who are out of contact. The office had issued a notice on Wednesday and appealed to the concerned families to know the condition of the people of the district in the flood-affected areas.

As many as 41 people are still out of contact except eight, Chief District Officer Gopal Kumar Adhikari said.

According to the official, if any family members are out of contact, they have been requested to inform them immediately. The office is taking initiatives to understand the condition of the people of the district who have reached the flood-affected areas for employment, business, travel and other works.

The notice also urged the people who have gone to the flood-affected areas to contact their relatives immediately and the relatives have also requested them to know about their condition and provide details to the district-based administration office, the nearest police office and the local level.

The missing are from Banepa, seven from Temal rural municipality, six from Dhulikhel, four each from Panchkhal and Bhumlu, three each from Panauti, Chaurideurali and Bethanchowk, one each from Mandandeupur and Roshi rural municipalities and one from Kavrepalanchowk.

Meanwhile, the administration has urged the people who have gone to the flood-affected areas to immediately contact their relatives and their relatives to inform the nearest police office and local level immediately.
