Tanahun. The body found in the Trishuli River at Devghat will be managed in the Chainpur forest area of Byas municipality-5.
The bodies of those who died in the Bhotekoshi floods and are yet to be identified are being managed in the forest so that they can be identified in the future.
Chief District Officer of Tanahun, Shivalal Tiwari, said that legal and scientific process has been completed before the mortal remains are being arranged.
He said that the body would be managed only after completing the necessary process including DNA sample collection for the identification of the dead body.
Of the 37 bodies recovered in Tanahun district, 24 have been sent to Pokhara and 14 at the State Hospital, Damauli.
The administration has said that the necessary details and samples will be kept safe. As the management of the dead body is sensitive, the work is being carried out in coordination with health, security and local administration.
