KATHMANDU — Prime Minister Balendra Shah and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane held a one-on-one meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar today.

The meeting discussed the ongoing efforts of the government for search, rescue, relief distribution and civil management efforts in the flood-affected areas of the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district.

During the meeting, the issues of rescue and relief to the affected people as well as rehabilitation of damaged structures were discussed.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that government mechanisms have been mobilized with full capacity for the protection of life and property of the people in disaster-hit areas, easy access to relief materials and rehabilitation.
