Nuwakot’s Trishuli area connected to road network

Kathmandu. The road across Trishuli River in Nuwakot, which was affected by the flooding in Bhotekoshik and damaged bridges over the Trishuli River, has been reopened to connect the area beyond Trishuli to the transport network.

The road along the Galchhi-Trishuli Highway has been opened from the right bank of the Trishuli River to Trishuli Bazaar via Kalleritar, Koshikhola, Pipaltar, Darshantar, Chhatrekhola, Gauribesi.

With the resumption of the road, many people of Nuwakot have restored road access to the district headquarters. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, rescue, relief and movement of essential materials will also be easier in the affected areas.
