Kathmandu. Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Dhangadhi Branch has reached Rs 25.1 million due to the end of the fiscal year 2082÷083.

Ram Chandra Lamichhane, chief of the Drinking Water Corporation Dhangadhi, said that Rs 21.6 million is yet to be collected from the private sector and Rs 3,545,954 from the government.

The corporation distributes 13 million liters of water daily to Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 19. A total of 11,339 service recipients consume this water. The corporation has been charging a minimum of Rs 110 monthly for drinking water.

Similarly, Nepal Water Supply Corporation, Dhangadhi collected a total of Rs 632,28,734.91 from various revenue headings in the last fiscal year, said Lamichhane.

In the previous fiscal year 2081÷082, the office had collected a revenue of Rs 57.2 million 38 thousand 857.34. This is an increase of 10.46 percent in the last fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year.
