NMB Bank donates Rs 3.51 crore to flood victims

Kathmandu. In order to help in the relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NMB Bank Limited handed over Rs. A cheque of Rs. 30 million fifty-one lakh to the Finance Minister. The bank has also provided relief materials worth Rs. One million rupees to the citizens of the affected area. It has also provided relief materials worth one million.

The flash floods have caused major damage to the riverine areas including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan. The floods have caused loss of life and property, displaced many families and roads, local infrastructure and hydropower projects have also been badly affected.

The bank has provided this assistance by standing with the affected citizens in this difficult situation. The bank believes that this will help in the treatment of the flood victims, provision of food and shelter, and reconstruction and rehabilitation of damaged structures.
