U.S. donates 40 tons of emergency relief supplies

Kathmandu. More than 40 tons of emergency relief supplies from the United States Humanitarian Organization Samaritan’s Purse have arrived in Kathmandu today to help the communities affected by the floods.

According to the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, 2,600 families will be provided with water filters, tarpaulins, blankets, cleaning kits, and solar lamps.TAG_OPEN_div_8

The embassy said it is coordinating with the Government of Nepal and various partners to provide life-saving assistance as per Nepal’s needs.TAG_OPEN_div_6
