30 missing in Bhotekoshi floods, 162 still missing in Madhes Province

Janakpurdham. Among those missing in the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa, 30 families of Madhes Province have come in contact.

Spokesperson of Madhes Province Police Office, Janakpurdham, Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhu Prasad Dhakal said that out of 192 people missing in the floods, 30 have come into contact via telephone while 162 are still out of contact.TAG_OPEN_div_28

Gyan Bahadur Thing and Shyam Moktan of Sindhuli, Satyam Ram of Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-22 of Bara and Rupesh Gupta of Swarna Rural Municipality-3 have come into contact.TAG_OPEN_div_26

Likewise, Mobida Khatun, Sakina Khatun and Salman Ansari of Gadhimai Municipality-7 of Rautahat, Sheikh Majid of Ishnath Municipality-4 of Rautahat, Pabitra Nepal Silwal and Samrat Silwal of Chandrapur Municipality of Rautahat have also come into contact.TAG_OPEN_div_24

Likewise, Brij Kishor Das and Sunita Das of Lalbandi Municipality-1, Dipesh Thapa of Bagmati Municipality-6, Rakesh Kumar Yadav, Ebpipin Kumar Mandal, Shreekesh Yadav of Jaleshwor Municipality-1 in Mahottari, Yubaraj Pandey of Loharpatti Rural Municipality, Sachin Kumar Yadav of Orahi Rural Municipality-9, Aditya Narayan Yadav of Gaushala Municipality-6 and Bikash Bharati of Bardibas Municipality have come into contact with them.TAG_OPEN_div_22

Spokesperson Dhakal said that 48 people from Saptari, 38 from Parsa, 13 from Rautahat, 23 from Bara, 18 from Sarlahi, 10 from Mahottari, seven from Dhanusha and 12 from Siraha are still out of contact.TAG_OPEN_div_18
