Kathmandu. Salt Trading Corporation Limited has provided Rs 60 lakh for relief, rescue and rehabilitation of people affected by floods and landslides in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts.
Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation Urmila Shrestha informed that the Corporation has provided Rs 5 million as social responsibility and humanitarian assistance while Rs 1 million has been deducted from employees’ salary to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
The corporation has been supplying essential commodities including food to the disaster-affected areas. It also expressed solidarity with the rescue operations being carried out by the Government of Nepal in this hour of disaster and said that assistance is needed for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected people.
