With the aim of ending the situation of finding a job due to lack of experience and not being able to gain experience due to lack of employment, a Kathmandu-based cybersecurity company One Cover Pvt. Ltd. has launched a completely virtual medium-based cybersecurity trainee program.

According to the company, the program aims to connect the theoretical knowledge gained in colleges and universities with real cybersecurity practices. The company claims that this opportunity will also be useful for students outside Kathmandu and young people who have just completed their studies as they can participate from anywhere in the country.

Earlier, there was a need to come to big cities including Kathmandu to gain practical knowledge in a special technical field like cybersecurity. But through the virtual program of One Cover, youth living in Pokhara, Biratnagar, Chitwan and any other place of the country can learn from home.

According to the company, the program will not only learn by looking at the materials prepared beforehand, but will also provide an opportunity to learn by interacting directly with experts and engineers working in the field of cybersecurity. Participants will also be introduced to the working process of real customers and given direct guidance.

The six-week program will provide practical knowledge in various important areas of cybersecurity. Topics ranging from searching and collecting information to security testing of electronic systems, network security, testing of mobile applications and preparation of security reports will be covered.

The program will include search and collection of public information related to targets, network identification, identification and testing of security vulnerabilities in electronic applications, security audit of applications, and security assessment of networks and infrastructure.

The company will also offer static and dynamic testing of mobile applications, preparing security vulnerability reports, and presenting technical issues to customers in a simple and professional manner.

According to One Cover, the program is not limited to the purpose of obtaining a certificate. Participants will be able to create a sample collection of their work along with practical knowledge.
