Genji Movement: Huge damage to public property, loss of many national heritages and heritages: Ex-PM Karki

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister Sushila Karki has urged one and all to discharge their duties honestly, responsibly and cautiously from their respective places for good governance and change.

Recalling the one-year anniversary of the ‘Jenji’ movement today, President Bhandari recalled the incidents of innocent youths losing their lives while raising their voices on the streets and digital media demanding good governance, accountability, transparency and a bright future.TAG_OPEN_div_30

Former Prime Minister Karki said that today was a painful incident in the history of the country in which many youths had suffered the pain of disability throughout their lives.TAG_OPEN_div_28

“Political stability is not determined by parliamentary arithmetic, but by the character and working style of the ruler. Therefore, I expect the government to be able to work effectively to ensure good governance, corruption control, rule of law and respect for citizens,” she said.
