Kaski. Annapurna Rural Municipality-11 in Kaski district has appealed for alertness after the water flow suddenly stopped at Kimrong.

The river has not been blocked since 6:30 pm today. Bishnu Bahadur KC, chairman of the rural municipality, said that they were going to Birethanti after receiving information from the locals that the water flow has been blocked. He said that it is not yet known at which place the river was blocked due to landslide or other reasons.

} “I have been on my way to Birethanti as I have received reports that the flow of water has been blocked due to the blockage of the river for two hours. We have urged the brothers and sisters living on the banks of Kimrong Khola and Modi Khola to take special precautions,” said KC. The rural municipality has appealed to the people of Kaski and Parbat to be on high alert as the Kimrong river merges with the Modi River.
