Karnali. The Karnali Highway has been obstructed again. The Surkhet-Jumla road section of the highway has been obstructed due to a dry landslide at Bhamlu Khola of Dullu Municipality-1, Dailekh last night.

According to Shrawan Kumar Mahatara, chief of the Road Division Office, Jumla, the road was closed since September 5 due to landslides at Pili of Khandachakra Municipality in Kalikot, Gagne Khola of Shuvakalika Rural Municipality and S Mode along the highway. According to the District Police Office, Dailekh, the road has been disrupted after the road was again disrupted due to a dry landslide last night.

According to the police, a police team from the police post, Tallo Dungeshwor, has been deployed at Bhamlu River this morning and the work of clearing the landslide debris has started in coordination with the Road Division Office, Surkhet, to open the road as soon as possible. Passengers destined for Surkhet, Nepalgunj and Kathmandu from Humla, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot have been facing inconvenience due to the road obstruction.
