Kathmandu. Both houses of the Federal Parliament are meeting today. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting of the House of Representatives will be held at 1 pm. Similarly, the meeting of the National Assembly will be held at 1:15 pm.
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is likely to present the Citizens Investment Trust (third amendment) Bill, 2083 and the Payment and Settlement (first amendment) Bill, 2083 in the House of Representatives today.
Likewise, Finance Minister Dr Wagle presented a proposal seeking consideration on the Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083.
Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, presented a proposal seeking general discussion on the proposal regarding securing membership of Asian Legislative Council.
Likewise, the Speaker of the House of Representatives is scheduled to present a condolence motion on the demise of former NA member Shukra Raj Sayok.
Likewise, Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to present the annual report of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for fiscal years 2080/81 and 2081/82 in the National Assembly.
Likewise, in the National Assembly, Prime Minister Shah is likely to present a proposal to discuss the ‘Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 BS Bill, 2083’ along with the report of the Legislation Management Committee. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the proposal will be discussed and passed in the House.
