Kathmandu. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has appointed Biswa Bijay Parajuli as his ‘Humanitarian Affairs’ advisor.
As per the ministerial-level decision dated September 10, he has been appointed as an honorary advisor till mid-December.
They were appointed for a short period with the expectation that they would help in the humanitarian works to be carried out by the ministry after the Bhotekoshi floods.
Parajuli has a long and deep experience in the United Nations. The Ministry of Finance believes that his experience will be very useful in the work of humanitarian relief and rehabilitation after the disaster in Nepal.
Parajuli’s expertise especially in disaster risk reduction and management is expected to help make the Ministry’s works effective.
