The jeep (Lu TAG_OPEN_div_15 1 Cha 6029) was heading towards Khalanga from Kotgaun of ward no. 6 via Simli of Sanibheri Rural Municipality-9 this morning.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, Bed Bahadur Poudel, said that two people died in the jeep accident. He said that the police reached the spot immediately after the incident and that a team led by him was also heading towards the spot. According to him, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.TAG_OPEN_div_13
Four people were seriously injured in the accident, Deputy Superintendent of Police Poudel said, “There were 11 passengers in the jeep. Five of them are in moderate condition. The jeep driver and a woman died on the spot and the identity is yet to be ascertained,” he said.TAG_OPEN_div_11
