Prabhu Bank Conducts Nationwide Blood Donation Program

Kathmandu. Prabhu Bank Limited has launched a nationwide blood donation program to provide blood to the injured affected by natural disasters and floods.

The bank, in collaboration with Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS), organized a blood donation program in all seven provinces of the country on Tuesday.

According to the bank, blood donation program is being organized at Babarmahal and Narayangadh branch in Bagmati Province, Biratnagar branch in Chitwan and Koshi Province, Simara branch in Madhes Province, Amarsingh Chowk branch in Gandaki Province, Butwal branch in Pokhara, Butwal branch in Lumbini Province, Surkhet branch in Karnali Province and Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpaschim Province.

A total of 321 pints of blood was collected from the participants in the blood donation program organized at eight places across the country.

In the past, the bank has also contributed Rs. 1,00,000 to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund with the objective of providing relief to the families affected by the devastating floods. 2,11,11,111 has contributed to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. Similarly, the directors and employees of the bank have voluntarily collected Rs. 40,80,050 have also been contributed to the fund.

Likewise, the bank handed over 100 tents and 100 sleeping bags to the District Administration Office, Nuwakot to provide relief to the flood-affected families.

The bank has expressed gratitude to the domestic and foreign nationals who lost their lives due to natural calamities. In addition, the bank wishes for the speedy rescue of the incommunicable citizens and speedy recovery of the injured and extends its deepest condolences to the entire community affected by the disaster.

Prabhu Bank pledged to continue its social responsibility towards providing relief, rescue and rehabilitation efforts to the affected citizens and communities at this difficult time.
