NADA hands over relief materials to flood victims

Kathmandu. NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has distributed relief materials to the people affected by floods in Nuwakot, Timure and Rasuwa.

The relief materials provided by NADA to the people affected by the devastating floods on August 19 were formally handed over to the District Coordination Committee, Nuwakot on September 19.

The NADA delegation led by Treasurer Pankaj Agrawal and Joint Treasurer Nilmani Pathak handed over the relief materials to the District Coordination Committee Office in coordination with the District Administration Office, Nuwakot.

Earlier, NADA had also provided financial assistance to the people affected by floods and disasters. On September 1, a delegation led by NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti met Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle and handed over Rs 10 lakh in cash to be deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

As a part of its social responsibility, NADA has been providing financial and physical support during various natural disasters since the past.
