KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank has called its general body meeting to approve the dividend announced to be distributed to shareholders from the profit of the last financial year.

The bank has called its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 12 at Amritbhog, Kalikasthan, Dilli Bazaar, Kathmandu. The meeting of the bank will begin at 11:00 am.

The meeting will pass a special resolution to distribute 3.8 per cent bonus shares of the existing paid-up capital and a cash dividend of 0.2 per cent for tax purposes. The meeting will also pass resolutions to authorise the board of directors to amend the management and regulations and appoint an auditor.

The bank will close the book for one day on October 1 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. Accordingly, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till October 30 will be able to participate in the AGM of the bank and receive the dividend to be distributed by the bank.
