Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the countercyclic buffer of commercial banks at zero percent for the current fiscal year 2083/84.
The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Thursday amended the Unified Directive-2080 BS for the licensed ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ class banks and financial institutions.
According to the revised directive, commercial banks will have to maintain the capital risk burden as per the provisions related to the financial year 2080/81. However, for the financial year 2083/84, such a countercyclic buffer has been fixed at zero percent.
