Siraha. Gopindra Yadav, a farmer of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-1 in Siraha district, has suffered damage to his sugarcane field in around two bighas of land.

He said that due to the storm and incessant rains, the sugarcane plants in the rented sugarcane field fell and the production decreased and the investment was not raised. Yadav had invested four lakh rupees in sugarcane farming by taking loans and loans. He expects to earn around Rs 10 lakh if the sugarcane farming is a good product, but he is worried that the investment will not be returned due to the storm and incessant rains.

Yadav, who was the former ward chairman of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-1 in Siraha, is now back in the agricultural business. He says, “Somehow, I used to cultivate sugarcane by renting the land, but last night’s storm and rain destroyed all the sugarcane. Now it seems that even the investment will not be raised.
