Kathmandu. Jagdamba Motors, a subsidiary of Shankar Group, in collaboration with Shaanxi Automobile Group (Sacman) of China, has launched the Sackman X5000e 6×4 Electric Prime Mover and X5000E 6×4 Electric Tipper.
With the introduction of these two electric heavy-duty vehicles, Sackman has entered Nepal’s fastest-growing electric commercial vehicle market.
Developed targeting the challenging needs of the commercial sector, the X5000E Electric Prime Mover will be useful for heavy goods transportation and long-distance transportation. Similarly, the X5000E electric tipper is designed for construction, mining and other challenging off-road operations.
Both models feature an electric powertrain and a 6×4 drivetrain, as well as technologies such as fast charging, regenerative braking, and intelligent battery management systems. The company claims that these technologies will help in the effective and reliable operation of the vehicle in difficult business conditions.

Both models of the Sackman X5000e are equipped with various features to ensure driver comfort and operational efficiency. The vehicle comes with features such as air-suspended seats, multifunction steering, air conditioning, and a large instrument display. In addition, the safety and control system required for heavy-duty commercial operations is also included.

According to the company, the price of the Sackman X5000E 6×4 electric prime mover has been fixed at Rs 2.05 crore. Similarly, the X5000e 6×4 electric tipper is priced at Rs 2.35 crore.
With the launch of both models, Jagdamba Motors has expanded its portfolio of commercial vehicles into the electric heavy-duty segment. With this, the company aims to expand the use of electric vehicles in the transport, construction, mining and industrial sectors.
