KATHMANDU: Deputy parliamentary party leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pramesh Kumar Hamal has said that the government was not serious about the voices raised in the parliament.
Speaking in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, he accused the government of bringing an ordinance after the end of the last session, not following the instructions of the Speaker in the current session and the Prime Minister not being accountable to the Parliament. Deputy leader Hamal stressed that the announcements, commitments, programs and budget made by the government should be reviewed and democratic process should be followed.
Accusing the government of failing to work as per its commitment in service delivery, he lamented that there was no performance as per the expectation in the areas of people’s livelihood including good governance.
