Sanima Bank Announces 10% Cash Dividend

KATHMANDU: The 22nd annual general meeting of Sanima Bank Limited was held on Monday. The meeting chaired by the chairman of the bank, Tuk Prasad Poudel, approved the proposal regarding the distribution of dividend proposed by the board of directors.

The AGM has approved the proposal of distributing 10 percent cash dividend (including tax) and 8.25 percent cash dividend on the preferred share capital for the fiscal year 2082÷83.

Likewise, Tej Bahadur Chand and Mahesh Ghimire have been elected unopposed as directors of the company.

The bank has earned a net profit of Rs 3.55 billion in the financial year 2082÷83. At the end of the period, the total assets of the bank stood at Rs 291.21 billion, total deposits stood at Rs 249.93 billion and net loans stood at Rs 203.99 billion.

Compared to FY 2081÷82, the bank’s deposit has increased by 10.84 percent, loan loan by 11.19 percent and total assets by 10.50 percent.

As of mid-July 2083, the bank had non-performing loan ratio of 2.87 percent, capital fund of 12.83 percent, liquidity of 30.68 percent and loan-deposit ratio (monthly average) of 80.77 percent.
