Prime Minister’s Relief Fund surpasses Rs 17 billion

Kathmandu. The Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund and the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund are in the process of collecting financial assistance after the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the fund has reached Rs 17.06 billion as of 8:00 pm today.

The Prime Minister has deposited Rs 12.57 billion in nine commercial banks and $291,93,174 in the accounts of Himalayan Bank and Laxmi Sunrise Bank.

The government has already released Rs one billion from the fund for flood-affected areas.
