Kumari Bank to Sell 1 Lakh Units of Promoter Shares

Kathmandu. Kumari Bank is going to sell 1 lakh units of promoter shares. Various promoter shareholders of the bank will sell the promoter shares held in their names.

According to the directive of the Nepal Rastra Bank, the first priority should be given to the existing promoter shareholders while selling the promoter shares. Accordingly, the bank had earlier published a notice to buy shares for the existing promoter shareholders. However, the bank has said that the sale process has been started so that the general public outside the promoter shares can also be purchased after no application was received within the stipulated period.

The bank has asked the interested general public to apply within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice. The application should be made to the share registrar of the bank, Kumari Capital Limited, Naxal, Kathmandu or to the head office of Kumari Bank, Tangal, Kathmandu.
