Kathmandu. Consumers who are facing problems due to the lack of easy exchange of gas cylinders will be able to exchange gas of 13 different companies at six places in the Kathmandu Valley from Sunday.

The arrangement has been made by the Nepal LP Gas Industry Association in coordination with the Nepal Oil Corporation and the Federation of Gas Dealers. The sale and distribution of gas will be from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm from today to Saturday.

Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Rudra Singh Tamang, said that arrangements have been made to exchange gas cylinders for easy supply during festivals.

According to the association, consumers can buy Sagar and Sugam gas from Sifal-based Gas and Oxygen Traders of Kathmandu, Sagar from Pepsi-Cola, Nepal, HP, Gita, Rajdhani and Tribeni, Baba and Shree from Sukedhara, Saibaba and Shree from Kalanki and Shree Ram from Harisiddhi of Lalitpur.

Association Chair Diwan Chand said only cylinders of LPG cylinders of member industries being sold in the Kathmandu Valley would be exchanged in those places.
