Kathmandu. The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has unanimously endorsed the names of 10 ambassadors.

Dr Nischal Nath Pandey has been recommended for India, Dr Kalyan Raj Sharma for China, Chiranjung Thapa for America, Gaurav Shumsher Rana for UK, Saru Joshi for Germany, Suresh Kumar Karna for Israel, Padma Makshi Rana for Oman, Dr Sangam Shrestha for Korea, Pragya Sherchan for Spain and Manchala Kumari Jha for Sri Lanka.

The committee rejected Giri Bahadur Sunar and Chudamani Kharel for Malaysia, according to Committee Chair Bodh Narayan Shrestha.

Similarly, the name of Jigyan Kumar Thapa proposed for Japan has been postponed. According to President Shrestha, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sought more evidence from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and clarification on his involvement with the local level.
