The general public had complained to Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, who is also a member of the House of Representatives from Chitwan Constituency No. 3. She drew the attention of Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal on the issue. According to the complaint, the office chief Deepak BK was asked to immediately rectify the shortcomings in cleanliness and management, CDO Aryal said. He said, “The airport premises need to be improved. We monitored with the minister. } Earlier, there were frequent problems in parking and other issues in the airport premises. According to CDO Aryal, since BK did not attend the meeting of the head of the office held in Chitwan for the last 15 months, it was not possible to understand the problems and the solution there and improve it. He said that after receiving many complaints, they have been instructed to go there along with the minister to improve it. Buddha Air has been operating seven flights daily from here to Kathmandu. About 800 passengers commute. Earlier, there were repeated complaints that the smell of toilets in the waiting room was emanating from the airport after boarding.
