Dhanusha. Dhanusha: 233 indigenous families of Dhanauji Rural Municipality-3 (erstwhile Jhojhi Kataiya VDC) have received land ownership certificates (land ownership certificates) after 11 years of completion of the survey.
As many as 233 local families, who have been living as residents for a long time, have now formally acquired the legal ownership of their land. The Survey Office has completed the necessary legal process and distributed land ownership certificates to them.
The measurement work of the area was completed in the year 2072 BS. However, even after the mapping was completed, the necessary legal and administrative procedures could not be completed due to which the land ownership certificates could not be distributed for a long time. Continuing the process that had been stalled for a long time, 233 land ownership certificates have been distributed now.
With the receipt of the land ownership certificate, the ownership of the land of the families living as Swawasi has been established. Local residents will be able to get legal and financial benefits after the registration of the land and the distribution of land ownership certificates.
After getting the land certificate, it will be easy to take a loan by mortgaging the land in banks and financial institutions. Similarly, it will be easier to settle land disputes once the ownership of the land is clear.
