Kathmandu. On the last trading day of the week, the stock market fell on Friday. On Friday, the NEPSE index fell by 5.45 points to close at 2,690.15 points.
Although the stock market has decreased, the trading volume has increased today. Shares worth Rs 8.89 billion were traded in the market today compared to Rs 8.57 billion on the previous trading day.
Out of the 13 sub-groups, the indices of five sub-groups increased while the indices of eight sub-groups declined. The index of the development bank sub-group increased the most by 1.61 percent. The indices of mutual funds, non-life insurance, others and business sub-groups increased marginally today.TAG_OPEN_div_10
