Buddha Air’s business worth Rs 7 billion in six months, rating of Rs 3.08 billion

Kathmandu. Buddha Air has made a business of Rs 7.41 billion in the first six and a half months of the current fiscal year. The company did this business from the end of July 2024 i.e. mid-July to the end of January 2024.

The company had a turnover of Rs 13.22 billion in the year 2024. Similarly, the company had a turnover of Rs 12.16 billion in 2023, Rs 10.98 billion in 2022 and Rs 3.33 billion in 2021.

The company has a rating of Rs 3.08 billion for short-term and long-term loans.  ICRA Nepal has said that the company has the ability to repay its short-term loan obligations on time. The company has received an ICRA NP A2+ rating.

Birendra Bahadur Basnet is the chairman of the company. The company has been adding new aircraft some time ago. The company started domestic flights in 1996. The airline has also been operating domestic flights to Kolkata in India. The company currently operates 18 aircraft, including two ATR-42 and Sixiton ATR-42 aircraft.
