Only 42 percent of capital expenditure of government offices in Parsa

Birgunj. In the current fiscal year, the capital expenditure targeted at the development of government offices in Parsa has been low. In the current fiscal year, the government offices here have spent only 41.74 percent of the capital budget or Rs 1.15 billion.

In the current fiscal year, rs 2.75 billion was allocated for capital expenditure for government offices here. Manoj Kumar Joshi, chief fund controller at the Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts, Parsa, said that the government offices in Parsa have not been able to spend capital in a relatively successful manner. The office has said that the government offices here will be able to spend only till July 30.

Although the government offices in Parsa have not been able to meet the capital expenditure relatively, the current expenditure has been spent in an encouraging manner, according to the data. A total of Rs 11.05 billion was allocated for government offices in Parsa in the current fiscal year. An amount of Rs 9.77 billion, or 88.43 percent of the total current expenditure, has been spent till June 15 of the current fiscal year.
