Finance Minister Poudel urges Malaysian investors to invest more in physical infrastructure and tourism sector

Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has urged Malaysian investors to invest more in Nepal’s physical infrastructure and tourism sector.

Finance Minister Poudel urged the investors participating in the malaysia-Nepal business council delegation visiting Nepal to invest more in nepal’s infrastructure development and tourism.

“There is a conducive environment for investment from the private sector in Nepal. Policies are investment-friendly. Identify areas of investment and move forward with better preparation. The government is ready to help and facilitate,” said Finance Minister Poudel.

The participants expressed their interest to invest in information technology, trade, hydro, infrastructure, environment and tourism sectors.

The delegation included Pradeep Kumar Kukreja, Chairman of Malaysia-Nepal Business Council, Dr Chai Ki Khan, Ganesh Kumar Vangah and MK Sangrah.
