Kathmandu. The current account has a savings of Rs 307.31 billion till Mid-May of the current fiscal year.

In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the current account was saved by Rs 238 crore. In the same period of the last fiscal year, the current account was saved by Rs 1.51 billion in US dollar terms, while in the review period of the current fiscal year, it was Rs 2.26 billion.

During this period, the net capital transfer stood at Rs 8.96 billion. In the same period last year, such transfers stood at Rs 5.46 billion. During this period, foreign direct investment (equity only) of Rs 11.09 billion has come in. In the same period of the last fiscal year, such foreign direct investment (equity alone) was Rs 8.24 billion.

As of Mid-June, the balance sheet has been saved by Rs 491.44 billion. In the same period last year, the balance sheet stood at Rs 425.67 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the balance sheet was Rs 3.62 billion as compared to Rs 3.2 billion in the same period last year.
