Kathmandu. The price of land within The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has remained unchanged for the last three years. According to the finance bill made public by the Metropolitan City, the price of land has been kept unchanged in the proposed financial bill 2082/83 BS.

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has fixed the price of the land adjacent to the right-hand side of major roads and other roads within the metropolis for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 BS. According to the Economic Act, the price of land in New Road, Durbarmarg, Putalisadak, Singha Durbar Ratnapark and other areas of Kathmandu has been fixed at Rs 5 million per anna.

KmC has fixed the value of the land connected to the main road from Kesharmahal entrance to Kshetrapati Chowk via West Thamel Mulchowk, Hanuman Dhoka, District Police Office East Suraj Arcade, Indra Chowk, Asan to Bhotahiti Chowk, Asan Chowk to Jamal National Dance House and from there to East Bishwa Jyoti Hall to Teen Dhara Pathshala, mahendra salik to Kathmandu Plaza. ।

Similarly, land on the right side of maitighar, Singha Durbar West Gate, Putalisadak, Krishna Pauroti, Hatisar, Jay Nepal, Kanti Path Jamal, Durbar Marg and the main road from Ghantaghar to Kamaladi Mod has been fixed at Rs 5 million.

KmC has fixed the price of land on the right side of the road up to Jamal, Ranipokhari, Bir Hospital, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Goshwara Post Office and Tripureshwor at Rs 5 million. Similarly, land on the right side of the road from Ratnapark, Old Bus Park, Shaheed Gate to Sundhara Chowk, Singha Durbar West Gate to Bhadrakali is worth Rs 5 million.

The price of the land on the right side of the main road from Putalisadak, Bagbazar and Ratnapark has been fixed at Rs 4 million and the land on the right side of the road from Putalisadak Kumari Bank Chowk to Old Bus Park (Shukrapath) has been fixed at Rs 4 million.
