Kathmandu. Former Energy Minister Janardan Sharma has said that the time has come to find accounts of those who have invested in the hydro sector.

Speaking at the 23rd General Assembly of IPPAN, he said that those who can invest cannot invest and those who cannot invest should not be allowed to occupy the project. He says that he will look for the account of those who sell the river.

On the occasion, he urged the government to extend the commercial production date (RCOD) time. He said that the state should invest in the PROR project even after taking loans. Minister Sharma said that instead of saying to make the country rich by selling electricity, the area consuming electricity should be increased.
