Mustang. The bailey bridge has been constructed on the Kaligandaki river connecting Gharpajhong rural municipality-2 and 1. The bailey bridge was completed in two years.

Rajan Kandel, sub-engineer of gharpajhong rural municipality, informed that the bailey bridge was constructed at a total cost of Rs 28.726 million with a federal special grant of Rs 19.7 million and Rs 9 million from Gharpajhong rural municipality for the construction of bailey bridge.

The length of the bailey bridge is 42 meters and the width is 4.20 meters. Ravichakra Construction Service had taken the contract for the construction of bailey bridge. Ward chair Ash Bahadur Thakali said the construction of bailey bridge has provided relief to the local farmers of Gharpajhong-1, Chhairo and Chimang villages, who have been stranded across kaligandaki despite being close to the Beni-Jomsom road highway of national pride.
