Bhojpur. A 28-room building of Hatuwagadhi rural municipality in the district is under construction. The construction of the building at a cost of Rs 75 million, including value added tax (VAT), has reached the final stage.

Mahesh Niraula, chief administrative officer of the rural municipality, said that more than 90 percent of the building work has been completed. The project is expected to be completed by August.

The construction of the building has been started with 40 percent investment from the rural municipality and 60 percent from the central government. Prem Kumar Rai, chairperson of the rural municipality, said the central government has so far received only Rs 23.7 million of the partnership amount.

The rural municipality has already invested Rs 50 million. So far, Rs 69 million has been paid for the construction of the rural municipality building, he said.
