Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that policy and the way the state as a whole thinks need to be improved to achieve the goal of economic prosperity in the country.
He said this while meeting the newly elected office-bearers of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) at his private residence Khumaltar today.
During the meeting, Chairman Dahal said that the contribution of the private sector in the economic development of the country was important. He pointed out the need for policy reforms to allow the private sector to work in a comfortable environment by changing the mindset of the state.
“The goal of prosperity cannot be achieved without formulating policies and structures to facilitate the private sector,” he said. ’
CNI office-bearers also recalled the role played by the private sector for the country’s economic prosperity and the conducive atmosphere of cooperation during prachanda’s tenure as prime minister.
