Stock market nears 2900 points, transaction amount decreased

Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the stock market rose on Monday. The NEPSE index rose 21.76 points to 2,892.72 points on Monday. At the end of trading on Monday, the stock market touched the 2900-point mark.

Similarly, the share price has also decreased by a higher point on Monday compared to Sunday. Shares worth Rs 16.32 billion were traded on Monday as against Rs 21 billion on Sunday.

The index of all the 13 sub-groups has increased on Monday. Among them, the index of microfinance sub-group has increased the most by 1.93 percent. Similarly, the index of development bank, non-life insurance and other sub-groups has increased by more than 1 percent today.

Shares of three companies traded at positive circuit level today. Shares of Three Star Hydropower, Trade Tower and Sanvi Energy were trading at positive circuit levels today.

Similarly, the share price of Unnati Sahyog Laghubitta Financial Institution has increased by about 9.5 percent today. Shares of Green Development Bank and Saptakoshi Development Bank were traded at negative circuit levels today.

On this day, Nepal Reinsurance Company is at the highest position in terms of transaction amount. Shares worth Rs 756.6 million of the company were traded today. Shares of Himalayan Re Insurance Company have crossed Rs 750 million. Shares worth more than Rs 565 million of Butwal Power Company were traded today.
