Sebon’s Policy and Program: This is the strategy in restructuring NEPSE and CDSC

Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has proposed to restructure the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC).

Unveiling the policies and programmes for the current fiscal year on Tuesday, SEBON has put forward a strategy to restructure NEPSE and CDSC in the current fiscal year.

The policies and programmes have laid special emphasis on enhancing the institutional capacity of regulatory bodies and market operators. It has been mentioned that the restructuring of NEPSE and CDSC will be facilitated.

Similarly, the board has also informed that structural reforms will be made by changing the share ownership of Nepal Stock Exchange and CDS and Clearing to make a strong arrangement for the secondary market of securities.
