Kathmandu. CG Brewery Nepal Limited, operated by Chaudhary Group, has made a business of Rs 2.21 billion in the last fiscal year 2082-83. The company’s business has been declining in the last few years, according to the company’s data.

The company had a turnover of Rs 3.91 billion. In the following year 2022, the company had a turnover of Rs 4.54 billion. In the following years, the company’s business has gradually declined. In 2023, the company did business of only Rs 3.05 billion, while in 2024, the company did business of only Rs 2.66 billion.

The company’s operating profit (OBIDTA÷OI), which was negative by 2.4 percent in 2014, has improved marginally for nine months in 2025. The company’s profit has reached 2.4 percent in the nine months of the last fiscal year. In 2023, the company’s profit was negative by 3 percent.

Cg Brewery, established in 1993 as Gold Brewery, is a beer manufacturing unit of Nepal Chaudhary Group. The company has a capacity to produce 585,000 hectares of beer annually. The company sells popular brands like Nepal Ice, Real Gold and Mustang.

These cg brands are exported not only to Nepal but also to countries like Hong Kong, Japan, UK, US and Australia. Chaudhary Group’s concerned individuals and organizations have invested in CG Brewery.

CG Foods Nepal is its major shareholder. Its central office is located in Nawalparasi. Where beer production and bottling work is done. Malta, which is required for the production of beer, is imported from Europe and India.

Similarly, other raw materials such as rice and sugar are procured from sources produced in Nepal. The company has 300 dealers and 53,000 retailers across the country.
