Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has taken initiatives to solve the problems seen in Khokana area, the entry point under the Kathmandu-Tarai-Madhes Fast Track Road Project. He took information from the concerned ministers and other high officials on the issue today and discussed how to resolve the problem.
In the discussion held at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, consultations were held on the study received so far and suggestions on alternatives to solve the problems seen in Fudol of Khokana of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-21, which has been established as the current entry point of the project.
Discussions were held on the options to address the religious and cultural heritage of the Newar community in khokana area. After the discussion, PM Oli directed to expedite the project by addressing the demands of the locals without keeping the problem in confusion for a long time.
Minister for Physical Transport and Infrastructure Devendra Dahal, Defence Minister Manbir Rai, Pm’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Economic Development Advisor Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada, Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel and secretaries of both the ministries were present on the occasion.
