Kathmandu. The programs run in Nepal with the grant of The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a US aid organization, will continue.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the MCC programs run in Nepal have been continued as per the MCC letter dated July 15.

“The compact agreement signed between the Government of Nepal and the body on September 27, 2019, was postponed for review in accordance with the order of the US President on January 15, 2019. ’

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Finance said, “We have received a letter recommending the continuation of the Nepal Compact and reviewing the programme on July 15 in this regard.” ’
