Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the stock market has fallen by 10 points. On Monday, the NEPSE index fell by 2.07 points to 2,962.13 points.
On Monday, the Sensex fell 0.78 points. Similarly, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) said that the float index fell by 0.37 points and the sensitive float index by 0.34 points.
On Monday, the transaction amount also decreased along with the stock market. Shares worth Rs 19.36 billion were traded in the market as compared to Rs 265 million in the previous trading day.
Out of the 13 sub-groups traded on Monday, the index of four sub-groups has increased. Similarly, the index of nine sub-groups has decreased today. The index of trade sub-group has increased the most by 3.24 percent on this day. Today, the index of development bank sub-group has increased by more than 3 percent.
Today, the share price of Samata Domestic Microfinance Financial Institution has been traded at a positive circuit level. The share price of Sanvi Energy has increased by about 10 percent today. On the other hand, the share price of Trade Tower has increased by more than 9.5 percent.
On this day, Shivam Cements is at the highest position in terms of transaction amount. Shares worth Rs 925.78 million of the company were traded today. Shares worth Rs 770 million of Himalayan Distillery were traded today. Shares worth Rs 580 million of Angadi Group Power have been sold.
