Bagmati. Makawanpur District Traffic Police Office has collected Rs 24.14 million in revenue in the last fiscal year.
According to Police Inspector Bachuram Phuyal, the amount was collected from 30,034 vehicles that violated traffic rules in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS.
In the fiscal year 2080/81 BS, revenue of Rs 36.967 million was collected by taking action against 47,899 vehicles. A total of 50 people were killed and 965 injured in 407 road accidents in Makawanpur in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS.
