Sindhuli section of mid-hill highway blocked due to landslide

Sindhuli. Sindhuli section of the Mid-Hill Highway has been obstructed since this morning. The highway has been blocked due to landslides and landslides on the road.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sindhuli, Surya Prakash Subedi, said that the highway has been obstructed due to the landslide at Akarebhir of Golanjor rural municipality-6. According to him, a six-wheeled truck (Na 7 Kha 7890) loaded with 11 buffaloes heading towards Kathmandu from Okhaldhunga was stuck in muddy soil due to incessant rain on the road section of the highway. Three trucks have been put on hold at different places along the highway.

A landslide has blocked the mid-hill highway at Baleni of Golanjor rural municipality-6. Vehicles plying on the Khurkot-Ghurmi road section have been stopped at Khurkot due to the road blockade. Vehicles coming from okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Bhojpur and other eastern districts will have to wait for some time. Police said that efforts are being made to remove the landslide and landslide on the road. It has been raining continuously in Sindhuli since last night.
