Kathmandu. Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Company has made public the financial status of the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year.

The company’s losses have decreased to some extent till mid-June.

The company had posted a loss of Rs 41.64 million in mid-July of the previous fiscal year. As of mid-July of the last fiscal year, there was a loss of Rs 20.79 million.

During this period, the company earned Rs 123.68 million from the sale of electricity. This is an increase of 10.11 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Similarly, financial expenditure decreased by 26.82 percent to Rs 67.88 million.

The company’s total profit increased by 7.29 percent and other income increased by 833.75 percent. As of Mid-July, the company’s earnings per share is negative at Rs 2.60 and net worth per share is Rs 63.77.
