Kathmandu. The Golyan Group has crossed six and a half decades. For six and a half decades, the group has invested in more than 25 sectors. So far, the company has employed more than 10,000 people.
The group has launched a new brand film on the occasion of its 65th anniversary. According to the company, the film highlights the stories of the daily life of Nepalis who have moved forward with the journey of the company.
Titled ‘Golyan Growth’ means ‘Golyan for Development’, the film showcases how Golyan Group’s investments in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality and renewable energy have created real opportunities for individuals, communities and nations.
Founded in 1960, Golyan Group is a major business conglomerate in Nepal, operating more than 25 businesses across the country. With more than 6,000 employees and annual revenues of more than $400 million, the group has a strong presence in manufacturing, agriculture, renewable energy, real estate and hospitality.
Golyan Group has said that its foundation is based on the principle of value creation within Nepal and it includes creating jobs, building infrastructure and encouraging local production and exports.
According to the group, this brand film presents the same commitment in a visual way. “It’s not from the company’s point of view, but through the eyes of people whose lives have made a positive difference,” the group said, adding, “The film tells the story of children illuminated by solar energy to farmers with access to fair markets and factory workers who have become financially self-reliant.” ’
